Darcie D. Patrick is an Educational Consultant and a College Admissions Strategist living in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Darcie graduated from Elon College in 1993, where she earned a B.A. in History. After an early career in the world of marketing and advertising, Darcie attended Indiana University Purdue University at Indianapolis (IUPUI) to pursue an encore career in education. She has served in the education field since 1996, where she began as a high school teacher in the Indianapolis Public School System. Darcie has worked in private school admissions/administration on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina for nearly a decade. In 2012, she retired as Head of School from Sea Pines Montessori Academy. She has been a featured speaker at educational conferences and broadcast on television and international radio on the subject of education. In addition, she serves as a consultant to schools in the southeast and Africa gaining global insight to the admissions process for domestic and international students.
Darcie is proud to join The Price Group, whose team has been offering students and families expert and supportive help with the college admissions process since 1995. Darcie seeks to lead the rapidly changing college admissions process with planning, clarity and honesty striving to create opportunities for excellence in college placement. She is an associate member of the IECA (Independent Educational Consultants Association) and strongly adheres to its Principles of Good Practice.
On a personal note, Darcie and her husband Kevin are parents to three children – Ella (16), Hake (12) and Jeep (8). She is the 2014-15 President of Hilton Head Rotary – VanLandingham and the 2013 Rotary recipient of Vocational (Education) Service Award. Darcie loves to spend time with her family and their two dogs. She enjoys camping, paddle boarding, watching the sunrise over the ocean, reading, photography and the smell (and taste) of freshly brewed coffee.
