Book Recommendations

Louise attended The Association of Recovery in Higher Education (ARHE) this past week in Minneapolis, Minnesota at Augsburg College. As she was networking with other professionals, she and John Britton, Counselor at the Collegiate Program for The Ranch at Dove Tree, in Lubbock, TX, shared their favorite books to help young adults struggling with addiction issues. One book they both really like is the book by Abraham Twerski on Addictive Thinking! Louise will be posting more about this conference and the sessions she attended soon.

Here is a quote from the author: “Ruminating about the past will get you nowhere. So go ahead and learn from the past whatever you can, and then put it behind you. Remember, there is nothing you can do to change it, but you can use its lessons to improve your future.”
